After a gap of 53 years, the Palestine Exploration Fund Annual, first published in 1911, has been re-launched in order to provide a vehicle for more extended studies of the Levant. In line with the original intentions of the series, forthcoming volumes will include reports of excavations and surveys undertaken or supported by the Fund, but, in addition, they will reflect the full range of the Fund’s interests by including a wide variety of archaeological, historical, geographical and ethnographic studies.
