Maney appoints new American Executive Publisher

Maney Publishing is delighted to announce the appointment of Kimberly Martin to the new position of Executive Publisher in North America.

The appointment is the latest step in Maney's expansion into the American market, and Kimberly's role will be to develop the list and strengthen contacts in the US.

Maney's Managing Director, Michael Gallico, welcomes Kimberly to the company: “This is fantastic news for Maney as Kimberly brings a wealth of experience with major US journal publishers and will greatly raise our profile in North America. Recent activity has demonstrated a strong interest in our publishing services amongst American societies, leading to a series of acquisitions, and we anticipate significant expansion in our list in America.”

Kimberly has previously worked with ME Sharpe and Taylor & Francis, and before that in a wide variety of production, marketing and managerial roles.  She lives near Philadelphia.

Kimberly said: “I am thrilled to accept this position with Maney which will be an exciting role at the centre of the North American journals publishing industry. I am looking forward to representing Maney in dealings with societies, editors and libraries, and anticipate much growth for Maney in the US.”

Last week Kimberly was accepted in to the Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women, Honours Edition, which recognises individuals who have demonstrated leadership and achievement in their industry and occupation.
