We are delighted to announce that the Journal of Orthodontics has won the 2006 European Federation of Orthodontics (FEO) Award for the best paper published within the previous two years, in the national journal of a FEO Member Society.
The Award is for the paper entitled: 'A randomised controlled trial comparing the quadhelix and the expansion arch for the correction of crossbite', by M. R. McNally and D. J. The FEO Award is granted on the basis of the scope of nominee's research, with special emphasis being placed on its impact on orthodontics and the implication of the results on clinical applications. The objective of the award is to encourage and enhance the publication of results of original research and clinical applications of orthodontic interest.
