Maney Publishing is pleased to announce new agreements with four leading UK universities, via Eduserv Chest, for access to its online journal content. The Open University has signed up to the Materials Science and Engineering Collection, Swansea and Glasgow Universities have opted for the History and Humanities Collection, and Glasgow also for Healthcare, and the University of Manchester has signed up to the whole collection, which also includes Botanical/Environment.
Dr Leitch, Deputy University Librarian, said:"The John Rylands University Libraryprides itself on providing to its users at the University of Manchesterthe most extensive range of electronic resources of any UK Higher Educationlibrary. Thereforeit was essential to gain access to Maney's range of electronic journal titles. We are very pleased with the variety and quality of the Maney collection."
Claire Grace, Resources Manager at the Open University said: "The Maney Materials Science and Engineering Collection is an excellent addition to our online resources, and the partnership with Eduserv Chest is an indicator of high quality and good value."
The MORE (Maney Online Research E-Journal) collections offer instant online access to 60 titles from Maney Publishing. The materials science and engineering collection is enhanced by the addition of eleven titles published by Multi-Science Publishing in the UK.
In a separate deal negotiated directly with Maney, the University of Western Ontario have signed up for the History and Humanities collection, demonstrating the global appeal of Maney's journal content.
