| PRESS RELEASE
26th November 2007 Maney Publishing (USA), Inc.
Maney Publishing has established Maney Publishing (USA), Inc. as the new North American arm of its publishing activities.
With increased publishing activity in North America, the formation of the new company in Philadelphia demonstrates a firm commitment to the societies and institutions, both existing and prospective customers, in this area. With the recent appointment of Kimberly Martin as Executive Publisher in North America, Maney will also have a much stronger presence at conferences in the States and anticipates great opportunity for growth.
Michael Gallico, Managing Director of Maney, is excited by the extension into America: “It is extremely important for us to have a physical presence in the US with our increased work with American societies and editors. It shows a firm commitment to the strong relationship we enjoy with our customers, and will enable us to build on the reputation we have established there in new publishing ventures.”
The new company will reinforce the already extensive input from North American editors and editorial board members, and will support subscriptions from North American universities, industry and institutions. Maney has also recently begun publication of the American Name Society journal, Names, and last year was pleased to add The Thomas Hardy Association, based at Yale University, and the University of Florida to its prestigious client list.
Societies or editors in North America who would like to talk to Kimberly Martin can contact her at: k.martin@maneyusa.com, 898 Center Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552, or telephone (001) 717-684-0086.
