Journal of Orthodontics Scientific Paper of the Year prize awarded at BOS conference

The prize for the Journal of Orthodontics Scientific Paper of the Year was awarded at the British Orthodontic Conference in Harrogate on Monday 24th September.

Philip Benson accepted the prize for the paper 'Decontamination of orthodontic bands following size determination and cleaning' written with C. W. I. Douglas. The authors received a prize fund of £750 awarded by Maney Publishing along with a certificate of their achievement.

The prestigious European Federation of Orthodontics (FEO) Award went to authors from the Journal of Orthodontics for the second year running, for the paper'A randomized clinical trial comparing 'one-step' and 'two-step' orthodontic bonding systems' by N. Manning, S. M. Chadwick, D. Plunkett, and T. V. Macfarlane. (Published in theJournal of Orthodontics Vol. 33, No. 4, Dec 2006.)
