ONLINE ACCESS

How do I set up online access to a Maney journal for my institution?

Please check the Online Instructions Page to establish where the journal in question is hosted. You will then need your subscriber number or customer number (depending on the title) to register for access. This is quoted on all Maney correspondence and journal carrier sheets, and can also be obtained from us at subscriptions@maney.co.uk. What if I have problems with registering for online access to a Maney title?

If the journal is hosted by Ingenta, please e-mail Help@ingenta.com (ushelp@ingenta.com in North America) in the first instance. For other online journals (and for any subsequent Ingenta titles queries), please contact us at subscriptions@maney.co.uk. 

What does our online access include?

Access to the full text of each volume is available free of charge to subscribers with a paid-up subscription to that volume. Subscribers are also given access in perpetuity to all previous volumes to which they held a paid-up subscription.

Free-access content is made available by Maney on a discretionary basis. Free content (which may be subject to change) is indicated on IngentaConnect by the symbol F against the content concerned. Please click here to view the list of Maney journals hosted on IngentaConnect.

Your online access is 'sealed-in' even if you choose to cancel your subscription. 

Are we liable for VAT on online-only subscriptions?

All UK customers must add VAT at 17.5% to all online-only subscription rates. Similarly, all EU member state customers must also add VAT at 17.5% unless we are supplied with your VAT number. 

CLAIMS FOR NON-RECEIPT AND BACK ISSUES

What if the library needs to claim non-receipt of a print issue?

We are happy to re-supply any journal issue up to 3 months after publication provided you have a current subscription. Claims made after this date will not normally be fulfilled although we are happy to supply prices for back issue sales upon request. 

Can I order back volumes of journals?

We have extensive stock of the back volumes of most of our journals. Please contact us at subscriptions@maney.co.uk for information about availability and pricing.

 
Maney Publishing holds journals from the current and previous year. Older volumes are held by our official stockists, Periodicals Service Company, to whom all orders and inquiries should be addressed.
