The Hardy Review is the journal of The Thomas Hardy Association and is the premier journal devoted to the scholarly study of Thomas Hardy. Past issues have included symposia on Hardy and film, Hardy and dance, as well as papers from the international Thomas Hardy conference. Individual papers by Andrew Radford on Two on a Tower (vol IV), A Laodicean (vol V), and Rosemarie Morgan's essay, "Thomas Hardy Buys a Wife" (vol VIII), have attracted particular attention.
The Hardy Review is edited by Rosemarie Morgan. (PhD University of St Andrews, 1983) who is a Research Fellow in the Department of English at Yale University. She is the author of Women and Sexuality in the Novels of Thomas Hardy, Cancelled Words: Rediscovering Thomas Hardy, A Student Companion to Thomas Hardy and the forthcoming Orphanism.
Individual membership of the Thomas Hardy Association includes a subscription to the journal.
