European Respiratory Monograph

The European Respiratory Society is pleased to announce that its educational book series, the European Respiratory Monograph (ERM) has launched on HighWire Press’ new H2O platform.

Each issue of the European Respiratory Monograph (ERM), published quarterly, concentrates on:
• a specific clinical area of respiratory health
• communicating information about the most current and advanced clinical techniques and systems
• providing factual and practical scientific information
• drawing clinical facts from specific case studies
• looking into the diagnosis and management of individual patients

The European Respiratory Monograph guides the reader through the recognition of symptoms, investigating diagnosis and treatment of symptoms.

The online European Respiratory Monograph contains the full content of each printed book, including all figures and tables, providing back content from 2007 up to 2010. The full text is searchable by keyword, author or citation, and the cited references include hyperlinks to Medline and to the online full text of many other frequently cited journals.

The site is fully integrated with the European Respiratory Journal and the European Respiratory Review – searches can run across the three publications, and future content will be integrated into the European Respiratory Society’s topic-based subject collections.
