Corrosion Engineering, Science and Technology provides broad international coverage of research and practice in corrosion processes and corrosion control. Peer-reviewed contributions address all aspects of corrosion engineering and corrosion science; there is strong emphasis on effective design and materials selection to combat corrosion and the journal carries failure case studies to further knowledge in these areas. CEST’s scope encompasses all metallic and non-metallic materials and composites. The journal also publishes regular updates on international developments in corrosion standards and reviews of important international meetings.
Increase in frequency for 2011
From 2011, CEST will be increasing from 6 to 7 issues per year

New research on effect of climate change on steel infrastructure
A special issue of CEST (Volume 45 number 1) is dedicated to examining the effect climate change and global warming may have on the corrosion of metals used in infrastructure. Guest edited by Professor B. Valdez Salas and Professor M. Schorr Wiener from the Institute of Engineering, University of Baja California, Mexico, the issue brings together papers examining climate change-induced corrosion. View the table of contents. This issue can be purchased separately (see Special Issues tab in right-hand menu) or as part of an annual subscription (click on the Subscribe button).
