This innovative bi-monthly journal has been designed to promote continuing professional development in psychiatry. Each issue includes commissioned articles dealing with the physical and biological aspects of treatment, psychological and sociological interventions, management issues and specific treatments. Advances in Psychiatric Treatment is aimed at practising mental health professionals and should form an essential part of the personal development plan of every consultant.

There are important changes to Advances in Psychiatric Treatment.
From January 2012, the full-text of Advances in Psychiatric Treatment will be available to all members free online as part of their annual RCPsych membership. Furthermore, the cost of the print version of the journal for members will drop to £50 per year, a 20% saving!
