Microstructural development and stability

This series of conferences focuses on the microstructural changes which occur in surface exposed materials and the identification of the mechanisms and processes leading to reductions in their mechanical properties. The first conference, held in Cambridge in June 1996, dealt with the microstructural stability of high temperature, creep resistant, 9-12% Cr martensitic power plant steels.
