Endnotes Guidelines: Applied Earth Science

1. Download the Endnote style file Maney App. E Sci into the Style folder within the Endnote programme files. Load an Endnote reference library.

2. To activate the new style, open the 'Style manager' (Edit - Output Styles - Open Style Manager), scroll down the list of styles and select 'Maney App. E Sci' (note: the style files may need to be arranged in name order in the programme file window before they appear in Style Manager). The selected style will automatically load when the Endnote library is next opened.

3. Selected references should now be able to be exported in the format required for Applied Earth Science (Trans. Inst. Min. Metall. B). Please check the reference styles and ordering with individual journal's guidelines before submission.

Note:

1. The reference styles will only work if the reference labels used in personal libraries correspond to the labels used to generate the styles, as shown in the table below.

2. The style template can be altered to correspond to personal reference labels by using the 'Output Styles' menu to edit the relevant style. Use the 'references templates' to reassign reference formatting to different labels.
