We are especially well-known for our titles in languages and literature, archaeology and architectural history, the decorative arts, and social history. In recent years we have added significant biomedical titles to our list and a major cluster in materials science. However, our close focus on the individual needs of each journal allows us to publish effectively in many areas - we have, for example, one successful botanical title and in 2004 will publish our first dental journal. Many of the journals in our care have been brought to us from other publishers, by proprietors conscious of the values Maney offers.
