Ming Studies offers significant peer-reviewed articles on all aspects of Chinese society from the 14–17th centuries. November 2009 sees Maney publish its first issue of the journal, on behalf of the Society for Ming Studies, following a complete re-design. The journal is also now online, and the full back archive dating back to 1975 will be available from 2010.
A special issue for November 2009 (Volume 59) is entitled 'Of Trauma, Agency and Texts: Discourses on Disorder in Sixteenth- and Seventeenth-Century China'. It's not too late to purchase your 2009 subscription – click here to subscribe now!
